Privacy Policy

Your files stay on your device

The Audio Cutter, Audio Joiner, BPM Finder, M4A to MP3 converter, MP3 to WAV converter, WAV to MP3 converter and Video to MP3 converter open, edit, analyze and convert your audio inside your browser. Your files are not uploaded to any server, and this site does not store them. Files you export are saved by your browser to your device like any other download.

The BPM Finder can also listen through your microphone, but only after you press Start listening and your browser asks you for permission. The sound is analyzed in your browser: only the last 10 seconds are kept, in memory in that tab, and nothing is recorded to a file or sent to any server. The microphone turns off when you press Stop listening or close the page.

No accounts, no personal information

You don't need to sign up to use any tool. This site does not ask for your name or email address.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver the pages and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical information that every browser sends, such as your IP address and browser type. That is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits. It records which pages are viewed, how far a page is scrolled, which links to other sites are clicked, and general information Google derives from your browser and IP address, such as country, device type and browser. Google Analytics never receives your audio files, their names or their contents.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are turned off: Google Analytics sends visit counts without setting or reading cookies. Elsewhere it sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_VFZKY4K212) to tell new and returning visitors apart. Advertising storage and ad personalization are turned off everywhere.

This data is processed by Google under Google's privacy policy. You can block Google Analytics on all sites with Google's opt-out browser add-on or a content blocker; the tools on this site work the same without it.

Ads and affiliate links

There are no ads on this site. The Audio Cutter, Audio Joiner, BPM Finder, M4A to MP3, MP3 to WAV, WAV to MP3 and Video to MP3 pages each show one affiliate link to LALAL.AI, an AI vocal remover and stem splitter. If you click that link and buy something, I may earn a commission. The program's referral tracking is handled through FirstPromoter.

The link is a plain link. Like any click on a link to another site, it is counted by Google Analytics (see below) as an outbound click with the link address; nothing else about it is recorded. Clicking takes you to lalal.ai, where LALAL.AI uses its own cookies, including a referral tracking cookie, under LALAL.AI's privacy policy. LALAL.AI works on files you upload to it, which is different from the tools on this site.

This page is updated whenever ads or affiliate links are added or removed.
